lookbook image 2016-2017 It's been rather a long time since my last post for which I must apologise.  The last few months have been a bit of a whirlwind!   We've been busying ourselves making a lot of changes which many of you will have noticed.  The Croft House website got a brand new look.  We started our instagram page (find the instagram button at the bottom of all the website pages).  After many requests for a catalogue we launched our first ever lookbook which you can find on the menu bar of the website.  And our first trip south of the Border to the London wool fair gave us the opportunity to meet new customers.  Not to mention that we had our busiest winter yet as more and more people discover The Croft House.

The Spring is always busy as we prepare the new autumn winter designs.  But we are also hard at work bringing new innovations.  We have just launched our international website pages (accessible to our customers overseas) and customers now have the opportunity to leave product reviews on the UK website if they wish.  We are always keen to hear from our customers how we can make The Croft House better so drop us an email on our contact page if you have any suggestions!

London Wool Fair The Croft House is looking forward to participating in London’s first Wool Fair on Sunday 25th September. The fair accompanies the traditional London Bridge Sheep Drive staged by the Worshipful Company of Woolmen, one of London’s oldest livery companies. We will join other woolly brands and urban street food vendors for a great day out.

Situated about 300m from the north end of London Bridge, find us at stall 11 in the middle of Monument street.  We’ll be just a stone’s throw from the 62-metre-high Monument to the Great Fire of London of 1666 which started in Pudding Lane.  The fair runs from 9am to 4pm.  We hope to see you there!

Blair Castle pop up shop 2016  Last week we headed into the Perthshire countryside for our annual pop-up shop at Blair Castle international horse trials.  I took the opportunity to launch the ladies 2016 knitwear collection and was delighted with the feedback it received.  It was lovely being able to talk to so many people about the collection, the yarns we use and my inspiration behind the designs.  And being at the Tilt arena meant we got a great view of some of the events happening at our door.

Behind the scenes AW16 photoshoot  I thought that a behind the scenes photo of our new collection photoshoot would give a taster of what's to come.  Despite the monsoon-like rain that we have been having here in the North East of Scotland for the last few weeks, we managed to get out to the beautiful dunes of Balmedie beach for our Autumn-Winter 2016 photoshoot. It was great to see our new designs coming to life on models Amy and Callum who did a fab job through shine and rain! I'm looking forward to showing you the final results in a few weeks time when we launch the new collection. With thanks to John for his photography skills and to Laura who produced a natural make-up look for Amy and also took this image.

The view from Blair What a great time we had at our pop-up-shop at Blair Castle FEI European Championships last week.  The largest pop-up we've had yet, we were able to launch our new winter 2015 collection which received a great reception. We even had room for a clearance area which proved very popular. We were delighted that so many people appreciate that our collection is made in Scotland and uses natural, high quality materials...the smell of "real wool" was commented on by many!  If we met you at Blair, welcome to the website!
