Being that bit further North, the end of winter happens later here in the North East of Scotland compared to most areas of the UK. I took a walk today along a nearby burn which like most watercourses at the moment was swollen due to yet another recent heavy downpour and thawing snow. I couldn't help but notice however that the snowdrops were beginning to make an appearance, a sign of new life and optimism in what has been a extraordinary winter in terms of weather. The first shoots of new growth always make me think ahead to spring. We are doing the same here at The Croft House with Winter Clearance now underway as we make room for our new spring summer collection which will make an appearance in a few weeks time.Read More
