This womens fair isle jumper features an all-over pattern called our "Pitmedden". Knitted in a shetland-character wool for an authentic fair isle feel. This bright Green colourway has patterns in turquoise and white. The crew neck and hem have a distinctive striped rib which is often seen on traditional fair isle sweaters. There is a rolled finish to the neck and sleeves.

Available in sizes XS (UK 8) to XL (UK 16)

Back length of the Medium size is approximately 24 1/4" inches (62cm).

100% Shetland-character Wool

Made in Scotland with Aberdeenshire wool

Dry Clean or Handwash only

These refer to garment measurements, taken with the garment laid on a flat surface.

Chest

Measure from armpit to armpit.

Length

Measure from the side of the neck down to the bottom of the hem.

Total sleeve length

Measure from the middle of the neck label, over arm to end of the cuff.

Measurements are approximate due to the stretchy nature of knitted fabrics.

Designers notes - the inspiration behind Pitmedden pattern

As a keen gardener, I was inspired by my nearest National Trust for Scotland property - Pitmedden garden by Ellon. It's primarily laid out as a formal parterre with designs dating back to 1675.
