Recycled Tote Bag

Originally designed as an alternative to single use carrier bags for our pop-up shops, we didn't want our web customers to miss out!

Our Tote Bag features one of our hand drawn fair isle patterns on one side and The Croft House logo on the other.

Measuring 38cm by 42cm, they’re ideally sized for use as a reusable shopping bag and can be easily folded to fit in your bag until needed.

The canvas bag is made from cotton fabric off-cuts from clothing manufacturing and consumer plastic waste which has been recycled into polyester fibre. All have been saved from landfill, made into new fabric, and sewn into bags using Oeko-Tex standard 100 approved thread.

*The first bags we produced were made in India and then screen printed in Scotland. However, our bags popularity has taken us by surprise, so we have now produced a higher quality product which we could only achieve with all processes taking place in the factory in India. We're sure you'll agree, that the end product is a really lovely bag!

If you're buying our knitwear as a GIFT, why not add a bag to your order? We can pack a single jumper or cardigan, or several accessories inside. The garment will be in a glassine paper bag to stop transfer of cotton fibres onto it.
