This soft lambswool scarf has an array of fair isle patterns contrasted with a "tweed" design in the middle. Knitted in double thickness it has the pattern on both sides and makes for a warm and cosy scarf. Purple colourway has patterns in bright heather colours of mauves and greens with an accent of teal.

Designers Notes
My "tweed" fair isle design (named after the River Tweed in the Scottish borders) is a traditional linear fair isle design with a contrast tweed-effect pattern in the middle. I wanted to produce a colourway which worked well in both countryside and city so I immediately thought of the heather covered hills. Bright purple and mauve combined with forest and olive green with an unexpected accent of teal looks great with a country wax jacket but will work equally well in an urban environment.
