Our womens gansey cardigan features decorative stitches around the yoke giving subtle pattern to both the front and back. Knitted in "Geelong" superfine lambswool it is incredibly soft. This cardigan is knitted without any seams which is comfortable to wear and means zero-waste production which is good for our environment. It is fastened with shell buttons and has a ribbed crew neck, hem and cuffs. The medium weight knit means it is the perfect cover up at any time of year and great for layering between seasons. Fuchsia is a gorgeous deep pink colour.
Available in sizes XS (UK size 8) to XL (UK size 16) Back length of the Medium size is approximately 23.5 inches (60cm).

Designers Notes
Gansey knitting was an important part of the coastal communities around the North Sea Coast. I wanted to produce a plain colour cardigan using beautifully soft Geelong Lambswool but with a twist. The Gansey pattern accross the yoke adds subtle pattern which echos the fair isle technique I often use in my designs and makes it distinctively a piece of knitwear from The Croft House.
